Sometimes in life we end up on a crossroad, where we can not see where it leads. And it is difficult to decide which path to wander next. You find yourself confused as to the choice you have to make, cause it is all too soon, all too overwhelming. This crossroad you had not expected, your brain hasn’t processed yet. So you just stand there, look back, look left, look right, but forward you cannot go…
Going back is no option, cause walking backwards makes no sense, and as for many of us left and right can be confusing at some times. So you just stand there and maybe even sit for a while. Some take a short while, some of us take longer than a short while. Cause we do not know which way to go. Which way is the right way to go, what if left is right?
In this particular moment it is okay to not know and take all the time you need. What’s the rush in deciding anyway? You might grow old? You’ll get old anyway. People might outgrow and leave you behind. So let them, they too have a path to wander and not all who wander are lost. And if you are, take the time to find your way. Cause tagging along means walking their path, which might not be meant for you.
It is okay to not know, to take a pause. To come back home, back home to yourself. And depending on what you have been through, this might take some time. Some of us are farther from home then others. So it might take a short while or a long time to remember who we really are, where we are heading.
So yes, right there in the middle of the crossroad as hectic as it may be. Do take time to sit, notice and breathe. For now that is all you have to do. All you have to do is just breathe and with patience, in time, you’ll know which way is right…
